Share

Three horses on a roll will run in tonight’s $32,000 Sgt. Pepper Feature Handicap, a Grade III at 350 yards.

One Fast Cartel and Sneaky Flyer have won two in a row, but 2-1 morning-line favorite Ib Snow has gone them one better.

Owned by a partnership and trained by Felix Gonzalez, the 3-year-old gelding has three consecutive victories, all by daylight. The son of Dash Ta Fame will have a new rider as Joe Badilla Jr. takes over with Ramon Sanchez, who has won twice on Ib Snow, moving to 3-1 third choice Kiptys First Dash.

Trained and co-owned by Angela Aquino, One Fast Cartel has won twice in a row as the chalk, including a victory at Fairplex last month. Eddie Garcia will ride the Corona Cartel gelding.

A gelded son of Strawfly Special, Sneaky Flyer arrives from Idaho with two consecutive victories. Idle since June 29, he will be ridden by Joe Ruiz as he seeks his fifth win in his 14th start.
