Corona Kool Returns in Las Damas

Share

Corona Kool makes her first appearance in more than seven months as the 127-pound highweight in tonight’s $54,150 Las Damas Handicap.

Owned by Lucas Racing Inc. and trained by Donna McArthur, the 5-year-old First Down Dash mare was last seen winning the Los Alamitos Winter Championship on March 2. It was her 14th victory in 24 starts.

In the 400-yard Las Damas, which is a Grade II, Corona Kool will break from Post 4 in the field of eight and will be ridden, as usual, by Sam Thompson.
