ANGELS: Angels 1, Twins 0--Eckstein fouled to right. Erstad singled to short left, a ‘tweener just over the outstretched glove of Koskie. Salmon lined to left. Anderson flied to left, Jones making the catch in front of the 330 sign. No runs, one hit, one left.

FOURTH INNING

ANGELS: Angels 1, Twins 1--LaTroy Hawkins pitching. Molina walked. Chone Figgins ran for Molina. Gil sacrificed. With the count 0-2, Eckstein hit a liner to the right of Rivas. With the infield playing in, Erstad hit a grounder to second. Rivas threw home and got the sliding Figgins on a very close play, Eckstein taking third. Mike Jackson replaced Santana.
