Share

With one win apiece, Rail Skimmer and Coolmore will meet for the third time in tonight’s $15,000 Calyx Handicap at 870 yards.

After finishing second, nearly three lengths behind Rail Skimmer in the Rapid Champ Handicap on July 6, Coolmore turned the tables in an allowance race on Aug. 24.

He overcame a four-length deficit in the stretch to win by half a length at 9-2, defeating the 3-10 favorite.
