Times Wire Reports

Northwestern’s Randy Walker is the latest Big Ten coach to complain about officiating.

He called Penn State’s holds “significant and blatant” and suggested officials ignored four clips in the Wildcats’ 49-0 loss to the Nittany Lions on Saturday.

“I don’t know how you don’t see them. It’s just real disappointing,” Walker said.

Criticism of league officials has mounted this season. Penn State officials called for a comprehensive review of officiating after the Nittany Lions’ Oct. 12 overtime loss at Michigan.

Commissioner Jim Delany has said he’ll consider a number of measures, including instant replay, to help officials do their job.
