Six Centuries of Art at Las Vegas Museum

LAS VEGAS--A new art collection, reflecting six centuries of painting from the Renaissance to the 1960s, is on display at the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum at the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino through March 2.

“Art Through the Ages: Masterpieces of Painting From Titian to Picasso” draws on collections from the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York. The 39 works range from Jan van Eyck’s 1436 “Portrait of Jan de Leeuw” through 20th century pieces by Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and others.
