7 Killed in Crash of Small Plane Near Airport

Seven people, including at least six members of one family, were killed when a small plane crashed in the woods near an airport.
Authorities said the pilot was from Lafayette, La. They did not disclose his name.
Officials said the plane was apparently attempting to return to the Dillant-Hopkins Airport, in Keene, about two miles from where the craft went down. Witnesses said there was a large fireball and the plane burned.
