Boeing Machinists Set Friday Contract Revote

Boeing Co.’s largest union said it will hold its second vote Friday on the aircraft maker’s final contract offer and recommended its 26,000 members reject the pact and go on strike.
The International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers had sought additional concessions from Boeing’s Seattle-based jetliner unit, but the firm has held fast to the three-year offer it announced Aug. 27.
