District to Dedicate New Elementary School
From Times Staff Reports
The Pleasant Valley School District will dedicate its newest school oday.
Located in Camarillo’s Mission Oaks section, La Mariposa School was built to ease overcrowding. It will house 720 students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
District Supt. Howard Hamilton, La Mariposa Principal Dianne Quinby-Anders and others will speak at the event. Refreshments, an open house and a self-guided tour will follow the ceremony.
The community is invited to attend between 4 and 6 p.m. La Mariposa School is at 4800 Corte Olivas.
