Workers Sue Clothier Over Uniform Policy

Polo Ralph Lauren employees are suing the fashion giant over its uniform policy.
The workers say the policy forces them to spend as much as a third of their income on company fashions to keep their jobs.
The complaint was filed by Toni Young on behalf of herself and others.
It charges that Ralph Lauren’s Polo retail stores require sales representatives to buy and wear the retailer’s latest clothing.
Young’s attorney Patrick Kitchin said that his client has spent more than $35,000 over five years on items of Polo clothing to meet the requirements of the retailing firm.
