20 Officers Redeployed to Sheriff’s Station
Twenty Ventura County Sheriff’s Department officers serving the unincorporated area of eastern Ventura County have been relocated to the station in Moorpark.
Four sergeants, two senior deputies and 14 deputies moved early this month from the sheriff’s station in Thousand Oaks.
“The increase in the number of deputies based in Moorpark will provide a significant advantage during emergency situations when rapid response times are critical,” Mayor Patrick Hunter said.
