Deal of the Week: Paris for $579

The best bargain packages to Europe usually start Nov. 1, and this year is no exception. The trade-off, of course, is chillier weather. One of the lower-priced deals is from Los Angeles-based France Vacations. For prices starting at $579 per person, double occupancy, you get round-trip nonstop air fare between LAX and Paris, five nights’ hotel in Paris, daily breakfast and a one-hour cruise on the Seine. Taxes, except for airport departures taxes of about $79 per person, are included. You fly on Air Tahiti Nui, Tahiti’s national airline, which departs LAX on Wednesdays.
