TRW to Tie Executives’ Pay to Performance

TRW Inc., in a first for Pentagon contracting, has agreed to consider cost and schedule performance on a major military program when it sets annual compensation rates for its top five executives.

This requirement is in the $4.5-billion contract TRW signed to design, produce and manage a fleet of weather satellites for the Air Force and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
