Police are searching for at least two suspects in the armed robbery of a doughnut shop and a convenience store Wednesday.
Two men, whose faces were covered with rags or bandannas, entered the Donut Cafe in the 200 block of 1st Street about 2:30 a.m., pulled a gun on the owner and took his money before fleeing on foot.
About 30 minutes later, similar suspects entered a 7-Eleven store in the 2500 block of Royal Avenue, but only one’s face was covered. The other brandished a gun and struck the clerk before both men fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
