Mementos Removed From Site of Club Fire
From Times Wire Reports
Workers began removing teddy bears, cards, flowers and other mementos left at the site of a nightclub fire in West Warwick that killed 99 people and left nearly 190 injured.
The items will be kept in storage until a memorial is developed, an official said.
Officials also announced plans for an April 22 benefit concert for victims and survivors of the Feb. 20 fire, which started as pyrotechnics shot up during the first set of the band Great White at the Station nightclub.
