Three Workers Slain in Robbery at Restaurant
From Times Wire Reports
Three kitchen workers at a restaurant near Catholic University have been shot to death in a robbery, authorities said.
In a crime that evoked memories of a 1997 triple homicide at a Starbucks, police said that two men and a woman were killed at Colonel Brooks’ Tavern. The victims were found in a walk-in refrigerator, and each had been shot in the head, police said.
Sources said detectives believe that robbery was the motive and that two suspects were involved.
