Police, Protesters Clash at British Embassy
From Times Wire Reports
Iranian police clashed with scores of antiwar protesters who threw stones and firecrackers at the British Embassy in Tehran, witnesses said.
Witnesses said a crowd of as many as 300 people, apparently members of hard-line Islamic volunteer groups, marched to the front of the embassy.
They chanted, “Death to Britain” and “Britain and America are the two Satans.”
