From Times Wire Reports

A massive fire ravaged an alfalfa facility in south Sacramento County over the weekend, causing about $3.5 million in damage.

Four storage buildings at the International Agriculture Commodities warehouse were burned, and the buildings’ contents -- rows of stacked, cut and bundled alfalfa -- fueled the fire.

Only one of the two-story buildings was wired with electricity. Although the cause of the fire has not been determined, fire investigators are looking into a possible case of arson, said Courtland Fire Department Assistant Chief Bob Visentin.
