Way Too Positive

Now that the “nattering nabobs of negativism” have been replaced by the “nattering nabobs of positivism,” let us review what it is that we are being assured of:

The occupation of Iraq will lead to peace, stability and democracy throughout the Middle East; the national debt can be lowered by lowering taxes; deregulation is in order because “market forces” guide corporations to do the right thing; the environment is doing just fine; and global population growth is not a problem.

What, me worry?
