P.I. Indicted on Felony Explosives Charge
A federal grand jury has indicted Hollywood private investigator Anthony Pellicano on another criminal charge in connection with an illegal explosives case pending against him, court records revealed Friday.
Pellicano, who has worked for some of the biggest names in show business, was charged in December with illegally possessing two hand grenades, a felony, along with a quantity of plastic explosives, a blasting cap and a detonating cord, a misdemeanor. A new indictment returned Thursday upgraded the plastic explosives count to a felony.
