Mid-State Bank & Trust in Downtown Is Robbed
A man robbed Mid-State Bank & Trust in downtown Ventura on Monday morning, escaping with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.
Shortly before 10 a.m., the man handed a teller a note demanding money and claiming he had a gun.
A photo released by the FBI shows a mustached white man of medium build, wearing a tan baseball cap, blue jeans and a lightweight, dark jacket.
Witnesses said the robber appeared to be in his 40s and was between 5 feet 9 and 5 feet 11.
The robber, who did not display a weapon during the heist, fled on foot, said FBI Agent Bob Mack.
Anyone with information may call the FBI at 642-3995 or Ventura police at 339-4400.
