White Drives to Second Victory in Series
Russell White moved up in the Jani-King Super Late Model series by winning the 75-lap eighth round of the Miller Light Big 10 Challenge on Saturday night in front of 4,341 at Irwindale Speedway.
White earned his third Super Late Model series win and second win in the Miller Lite series by holding off Rip Michels and Rod Johnson. Greg Pursley, who still leads the Miller Lite series, finished fourth.
Doug McComb defeated Scott Youngren by 0.078 seconds to win the 50-lap Auto Club Late Model series. Andrew Myers finished third, just ahead of series leader Todd Burns.
In the 20-lap Super Moto TT series feature, Mike Cinqmars improved on his fourth-place finish in his last appearance to win the second race this season at the track, holding off Leonardo Bagnis and Mark Cernicky.
In the 40-lap Vista Paint Super Stock series feature, T. K. Karvasek earned his second consecutive win and third this season.
