Tribute to Honor Ebsen

A celebration of life for entertainer Buddy Ebsen, who passed away July 6 at the age of 95, will be held Aug. 30 at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre (5230 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood) at 2 p.m.

The tribute, which is free to the public, will be emceed by actor Dick Van Dyke and feature the showing of a never-released, one-hour retrospective produced by Ebsen titled, “The Buddy Ebsen Story.”
