Three Men Are Sought in Bank Robbery
Police were searching Monday for three men who robbed a bank in Anaheim. One robber was carrying a bucket of liquid.
The men, who are estimated to be between 18 and 28 years old, walked into the Banco Popular near Lincoln Avenue and Harbor Boulevard about 10:45 a.m. and robbed a teller, police Sgt. Rick Martinez said.
“We don’t know why he carried the bucket in there,” Martinez said. “We don’t know if it was a dangerous substance or used to clean evidence.”
The men fled in a van with an undisclosed amount of cash. The van was abandoned nearby.
