Survey Finds Drug Use Common Among Teens

Marin County teenagers have easy access to drugs, alcohol and tobacco, according to a survey of high school students.
The survey of 588 high school students by the Youth Health Advisory Council found that 49% buy drugs, often from classmates. Three-quarters of the students surveyed said they used alcohol at social events or parties, and 55% said they used drugs on such occasions.
