Harsh words

I found Booth Moore’s commentary on the “Bachelorette” wedding to be fluff, but interesting fluff (“All Dolled Up, With Big Heels and Borrowed Jewels,” Dec. 12). However, at the end of the article, Moore calls Trista Rehn’s dress “slutty.” Now, I’m fine with mocking this ridiculous couple and their photo-op wedding, but that word is really inappropriate. I believed that we’d come further than to associate a woman’s dress with her sexual behavior.
