City Manager to Take Post in Beverly Hills

Novato’s top administrator is leaving for Beverly Hills.
City Manager Rod Wood is resigning from his job in Novato to take a similar position in Beverly Hills. In his new post, Wood will be paid about $240,000 and he’ll get as much as $1.5 million as a house loan.
His resignation is effective Jan. 23 and he’s scheduled to begin his new job late next month.
