Holiday closures
Today is Christmas Day. Here is a list of closings:
Mail: All post offices will be closed today, and no mail will be delivered.
Courts: Courthouses will be closed today and open Friday.
Schools: All Ventura County schools are closed for the holidays.
Government: All federal, state and municipal offices will be closed today. City offices in Moorpark, Ojai and Simi Valley will be closed Friday.
Transportation: Ventura County Transit and Metrolink will be closed today and will resume regular schedules Friday.
Trash: There will be no residential trash pickups today, and service will be delayed one day the remainder of the week.
