At Least 3 Hospitalized for Bacterial Meningitis
Three teenagers from southwestern New Hampshire were hospitalized with bacterial meningitis, and a fourth from the Concord area was suspected of having the potentially fatal illness, state health officials said.
Officials said they were searching for links between two 15-year-old classmates diagnosed with the disease this week and two other cases announced Friday: an 18-year-old woman and a 14-year-old from the Concord area.
The woman was in critical condition, and the 14-year-old was stable. The 15-year-olds were hospitalized but improving.
