Question for Democrats

For several months I have been receiving e-mail news from the Democratic Party. Now they want me to join. Here’s my answer. When the Democrats speak out forcefully about protecting civil rights in our post- 9/11 world, when the Democrats organize coherent opposition to the U.S. invasion of Iraq, when the Democrats initiate action to protect the environment against incursion by the Bush cartel, when the Democrats create visible support for a tax plan that respects the needs and values of the middle class, then I’ll join. So, Democrats, are you clones of the Bush hegemony or do you have something to offer?
