From Times Wire Reports

A man was convicted of murder in what a prosecutor called the “thrill-kill” slaying of 12-year-old Shannon Leigh Kos.

Perry Ricciardi II, 22, could be sentenced to death. A second man, William Monday, is serving life after pleading guilty to killing the girl on Oct. 8, 2000. Prosecutors said Ricciardi, Monday and David Garvey fantasized the crime, then lured Shannon to her death. Garvey is awaiting trial.
