Man Arrested in Raid on Indoor Pot Operation
A Ventura man, 38, has been arrested on suspicion of growing 49 marijuana plants and using illegally diverted electricity to do so, authorities said Saturday.
Tracy Bridger was taken into custody Thursday after officers raided his house on Emma Street and found plants inside a room attached to the garage.
Authorities said they also found evidence of power being diverted around a meter, to run lights, fans and other electrical devices inside the cultivation room.
Jail officials said Saturday that Bridger was no longer in custody.
