Kevin Garnett had 37 points, 22 rebounds, six assists and five blocked shots as the Minnesota Timberwolves tied a franchise record Sunday with their 12th consecutive home victory, 109-102, over the Golden State Warriors.

The Timberwolves won their sixth consecutive game and 12th in their last 14 as they ended the Warriors’ three-game road winning streak.

Minnesota, 22-5 at home this season, had never won 12 in a row at home in one season. Their other 12-game winning streak spread between the 1997-98 season and the lockout-shortened 1998-99 season.

Golden State used a 17-4 run to pull to within 102-97 with 2:03 to play. The Warriors had three possessions over the next minute but could not close the gap. Garnett clinched the victory with a 20-foot basket with 34.9 seconds left.

Philadelphia 90, New Jersey 83 -- Allen Iverson had 32 points and five of the 76ers’ 14 steals in Keith Van Horn’s first game back at East Rutherford, N.J.

Van Horn got into foul trouble and scored only nine points in 26 minutes against the team he helped to the NBA Finals last season, but he made a clutch baseline jumper over Jason Kidd with 63 seconds left to give the 76ers an 84-77 lead.

Memphis 101, Milwaukee 95 -- Jason Williams scored four points in the final 72 seconds and the Grizzlies won on the road for only the fourth time this season.

Williams drove around Sam Cassell for a layup to give the Grizzlies a 99-93 lead with 1:12 left. Tim Thomas scored on a dunk with 1:01 to go to cut the lead to 99-95, and Cassell stole a pass to give the Bucks the ball.

The Bucks got it to Ray Allen on their next two possessions, but he missed three-point attempts each time. Williams made one free throw for a 100-95 lead with 9.8 seconds to go. Williams stole a pass with five seconds left, was fouled and made another free throw.

Detroit 90, Cleveland 75 -- The visiting Pistons won for the seventh time in eight games and moved to within one game of Central Division-leading Indiana. The Cavaliers have lost 13 of 15 and dropped to a league-worst 10-43. They are 2-9 under interim Coach Keith Smart.
