Man Commits Suicide After Tying Up Parents
From Times Staff Reports
A 34-year-old man who had tied up his parents in their home Friday afternoon and then barricaded himself fatally shot himself in the head several hours later, officials said.
His parents escaped shortly after their son called police at 1:10 p.m. to say he was holding them. Police contacted the man, but he refused to come out. SWAT members entered the house on Cloverbrook Drive after 12 hours and found the man’s body.. The parents were not injured.
