Permit Denial Means 70 Pets Are Given Away
From Staff and Wire Reports
Patricia Fauth has given away 70 of her pets, mostly birds, since the Planning Commission denied her request for a pet permit last October.
On Tuesday the commission again turned her down, by a 6-1 vote. She was asking permission to keep 22 birds at her home in New Monterey.
Fauth will appeal the decision to the City Council, her attorney said.
