From Times Wire Reports

The political free-for-all that began with the death of a veteran congresswoman just over three months ago finally comes to an end today, as voters in Hawaii’s 2nd District cast ballots for a fourth time to choose their representative in Congress.

A half-dozen candidates have pulled away from the field of 44.

Democrat Ed Case, who won the election to fill the remainder of U.S. Rep. Patsy A. Mink’s term that expires next week, appears to be the favorite.
