Skakel Denied Request to Attend Dad’s Funeral

Convicted killer Michael Skakel will not be permitted to attend his father’s funeral, state prison officials said.
Rushton Skakel Sr., the brother of Ethel Kennedy, died last week. A funeral Mass is set for Friday in Greenwich.
Michael Skakel was convicted in June of the 1975 murder of Martha Moxley, 15, a neighbor. He is serving 20 years to life in prison.
