‘Rilly big shew’ on our stage
A few alumni of the “Ed Sullivan Show” are on a memory lane tour of sorts to fete their old boss and his “rilly big shew.” John Byner, a first-rate Sullivan impersonator, will be joined by songstress Anna Maria Alberghetti, who appeared on the show a record 53 times. The “Tribute to Ed Sullivan” bill includes Eddie Daniels and the Amazing Platters, comedian Pete Barbutti, Todd Oliver & his dog Irving, dancer-actress Annie Gaybis, The Scott Twins, juggler Leonardo and others.
