Wal-Mart Says June Sales Met Forecast
From Bloomberg News
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said its June sales at U.S. stores open at least a year met the company’s forecast of a 2% to 4% rise from a year ago.
The retailer attributed the increase to strong sales of toys, swimwear and the latest Harry Potter book. Final June results will be released July 10, the company said.
