Ramirez’s Bad Taste
Michael Ramirez’s penchant for bad taste seems to have no limit. In his June 28 cartoon (Commentary) he combines a political story (Gov. Gray Davis and the state’s budget problem) with a personal human tragedy. Is there supposed to be some humor in the gruesome and sad story of a woman killing a homeless man with her car and leaving his body embedded in the car’s windshield for hours? This cartoon would have been bad taste for Hustler magazine.
