2 Teens, Woman Hurt in Drive-By Shooting
Two teenagers and a woman were wounded in a drive-by shooting late Friday in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood, police said.
The 17-year-old boy, 14-year-old girl and 20-year-old woman were standing on the sidewalk in the 600 block of West 81st Street about 10:20 p.m. when shots were fired from a passing vehicle, said LAPD Det. Diane Weston. All three were shot in their legs and ankles, she said.
The shooter’s car has been described as a blue or gray sport utility vehicle or sedan. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (877)LAWFULL.
