Sammy Can’t Answer These Simple Questions

Share

To all those who have not put the Sammy Sosa story into perspective, here it is:

If it was an illegal bat, what was it doing in the building in the first place?

If it was an “exhibition” bat, where were the obvious markings indicating such?

Assume that he is guilty, if it is still such a stretch for some of you. Ask yourself:

How many times has he used it in the past?

How many of those home runs are fraudulently attained?

How many scores of a game were altered as a result of his home runs?

Did that fraudulent manipulation affect the outcome of games?

Did he gain financially due to his fraudulent numbers?

Did he cheat for personal gain?

Did he let down the kids, the fans and sports in general?

The answer to all of these questions is a resounding “yes.”

And Pete Rose is banned for life because he “allegedly” bet on baseball.

We need a commissioner with a brain. Bob Costas, where are you?
