Clean the house?

ABOUT that Hollyhock House (“Renovation of Wright House May Stall Out,” by Mike Boehm, Feb. 28): $17 million and they’re still not done? Somebody should be horsewhipped.
It’s good to see that every neighborhood in Los Angeles is sufficiently safe, and every child is getting such a good public education, that the city can throw away tens of millions of dollars on an “art park.”
“Fiasco” doesn’t even begin to describe this disaster.
If I were in charge, I’d put this wreck up for auction on EBay and use the funds for something a little more important than a home renovation and art classes.
