Author of Reagan Book to Speak at Library

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan will attend a lecture by Peter Wallison, author of the book “Ronald Reagan: The Power of Conviction and the Success of His Presidency,” at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library on Wednesday.
Wallison was general counsel of the U.S. Treasury from 1981 to 1985 and had a significant role in the development of the Reagan administration’s proposals for deregulation in the financial services industry.
The lecture begins at 1:30 p.m. There is no charge, but reservations are recommended by calling 522-2977. The library is at 40 Presidential Drive near Simi Valley.
