Man Gets 15 Months for Postage Stamp Thefts

An El Segundo man was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for stealing more than $1 million in postage stamps from trains at Union Station.
Former Amtrak worker Elpidio De La Cruz, 43, was sentenced this week for his role in a theft ring that worked out of the Union Station Amtrak yard, according to the U.S. attorney’s office. Two other men have already been sentenced.
