Israel Arrests Hamas Figure and 13 Others

Israeli forces said they arrested a Hamas commander and 13 other suspected Palestinian militants.
Israeli special forces surrounded a house in Kalkilya and arrested Raed Hutri, commander of Hamas forces in the West Bank town, along with his deputy, the military said. Israel Radio said Hutri planned a suicide bombing in front of a Tel Aviv nightclub that killed 21 people on June 1, 2001.
