Alessandra Giampaolo, Pasadena Poly: Had two hits, including an RBI triple, and scored in a 2-0 upset of Hacienda Heights Wilson in the El Monte Arroyo tournament semifinals.

SWIMMING

Kevin McCoy, Fountain Valley: Won the 50 freestyle in 22.30 and the 100 freestyle in 48.92 in an 88-79 nonleague win over Lake Forest El Toro.
