Share

The seven geldings scheduled to run tonight in the sixth race are no strangers to the winner’s circle. They have 80 victories in 259 starts between them, topped by Ashlander’s 17 victories.

Owned by Michael Harrell and trained by Danny Harrell, Ashlander, a 9-year-old Appaloosa, has been second or third 22 times, meaning he has failed to hit the board in less than half of his 61 starts. Ramon Guce will ride the California-bred, who has won three of his last four.

Fred Too, a 7-year-old son of The Signature, is next on the list with 15 victories. Owned by Colten O’Dell and trained by Chris O’Dell, Fred Too has won two of his last four.
