Mercury Pollution

Re “Warnings on Canned Tuna Urged,” May 4:

Instead of fighting requests to notify people about the toxic effects of mercury in fish, the tuna and restaurant industries would be better off joining environmental and public health advocates in working to clean up and prevent mercury pollution. Such an alliance would create a formidable opponent for those responsible for mercury pollution.
