Sculpture may be world’s oldest
A 400,000-year-old stone figurine from a dig in Morocco might be the world’s oldest sculpture, according to the BBC.
Found 15 meters below ground, it has been examined by a prehistoric-art expert, who says that it is shaped like a human and its surface has flecks of a red substance that could be paint.
